Helping Managers Thrive
Effective training and development can give managers the skills and confidence to effectively lead their teams, to recruit, develop and manage their people, to handle difficult conversations or resolve conflict early, and conduct or oversee fair and robust investigations. We provide bespoke, experience-led training designed to address these areas and give managers the practical skills to tackle challenging people issues with confidence, compassion and professionalism. Our training not only strengthens decision-making and reduces workplace risk, but also fosters more positive, productive teams and a culture where issues are managed early in a just and compassionate fashion.
Designing & Delivering Courses – Our Undertaking To You
We are experienced Senior Managers with training qualifications and backgrounds in several organisations. We pride ourselves that our training, in design and delivery, reflects our knowledge and practical experience of the subject matter, working collaboratively with you to ensure they reflect your specific needs. Our courses reflect legislative and policy requirements but also introduce, what we regard as, best practice and the most influential and credible thinking, trends or innovation on the subject in question.
We design and evaluate all our courses in partnership with you. While we have developed many courses, all content will be revised to meet your needs and updated to ensure currency. We will ensure you have a bespoke course flyer and will conduct a ‘needs assessment’ survey of delegates well in advance to ensure the course is tailored to their learning needs. We can be flexible as to delivery, either onsite or online and will always be happy to discuss class size and logistics of training sessions. An informative delegate pack can be produced to support our delivery.

A post workshop feedback survey will be conducted to evaluate how well the training needs were met. On investigation courses, we provide a free advisory service to delegates who may wish support when conducting an investigation during the first 12 months following the course.
Our Courses and Workshops
While none of our courses are public courses, we have provided an indicative per head cost which reflects the average per head cost of many other national course providers. We are willing to consider course fees on a per head or overall per day delivery cost. All courses will include a development cost which will vary according to the client requirements. Below are an example of the courses and workshops we have delivered.

“Very useful training session. Encouraged discussion and engagement of the group. Very knowledgeable trainer, this training was long overdue”
“Really good training, wish I had the opportunity to do this training before I had to conduct an investigation. Thank you 😊 “
“Session was really interesting. For someone who has never done investigations before this was a lot of information to take on and maybe worth doing over 2 days rather than one as I feel like I need to know much more. Really enjoyed the session thank you”
“Very informative and professionally delivered. Thank you Andy”
“Really enjoyed this session – one of those rare training sessions where everything seemed very useful! I particularly enjoyed Andrew challenging us to think about things in a different way and foster a culture of transparency. I found the policy recommendations very useful, discussing the scenarios in groups.”
“I thought this was an excellent session. Perhaps if there was more time we could have had the opportunity to discuss in groups how different NHS organisations are tackling B&H so we can ‘peer into each other’s gardens’ during the session – as Andrew would recommend! I really enjoyed the session and wouldn’t change anything in the time that we had.”
“Would’ve liked a whole day there’s so much I could’ve picked your brain for!”
“Andy was very knowledgeable of the subject area and very friendly, and so made it easy for people to get involved. He also ensured there was time for everyone to ask questions as and when required. I found the session extremely useful and will be recommending it to my colleagues”
